One account for connection, power platform

Well while I was working on the PowerPlatform, power automate specifically, I realised that it’s good if we have one account which we treat as service account for connecting to all the services like SharePoint, outlook etc.

I have seen companies came to us complaining that we are not receiving emails from system or our power platform stopped working and after looking into the power automate we identified that the user who created the power automate used his own account for connection. Now the user left company and they disabled the account which means Power Automate not able to connect to different services.

So in my opinion there should be a accout through which all the connection should be made.

Please note this account should have the correct access to the service like if you are fetching item from SharePoint list. This account should have the access to do that stuff.

Enjoy using power platform.
